The Geiger Group from Oberstdorf, Germany, has sold its materials testing laboratory to Kiwa. This laboratory has over 30 years of expertise of testing materials in the area of construction and raw materials.

As of today, Kiwa and Instituut voor Sportaccommodaties B.V. (ISA Sport) form a team for testing, inspecting and certifying playing surfaces, such as artificial turf pitches. ISA Sport is the market leader in this area and is recognised by the NOC*NSF and the Dutch as well as many international sports associations, such as FIFA (football), FIH (hockey), ITF (tennis), IRB (rugby) and IAAF (athletics). The activities of ISA Sport tie in closely with those of Kiwa and are a valuable addition to Kiwa's package of services.
